2019-09-14 12:24:00 Escherichia coli mutants lacking the high-affinity nitric oxide (NO) reductase activity of the hybrid cluster protein (Hcp) are less sensitive to nitrosative stress in the iron-sulfur cluster repair protein (YtfE)(-) background than isogenic ytfE(+) strains. The concerted action of YtfE and Hcp maintains the cytoplasmic NO, and proves the coordinated regulation of Hcp and YtfE synthesis by NsrR. 29493496
