2018-04-21 12:06:00 Study reveals that MET18 mutation caused DNA hypermethylation at more than 1000 loci, of which about 70% were overlapped with the targeted loci, indicating a same genetic pathway. Results show that MET18 regulates active DNA demethylation by affecting the enzymatic activity of the family proteins. Thus, MET18 can regulate both active DNA demethylation and DNA methylation pathways in Arabidopsis. 27193999
