Food and dopamine signaling slowed habituation downstream from ASH excitation via D1-like dopamine receptor, DOP-4. Assay allows for large-scale genetic and drug screens investigating mechanisms of nociception modulation. 27634141
2010-01-21 00:00:00 DOP-4 shows high sequence homology with D1-like dopamine receptors unique to invertebrates, distinct from mammalian D1-like dopamine receptors. Reporter gene assay showed that DOP-4 stimulates cAMP accumulation in response to dopamine stimulation. 16001968
